Go fetch me a coffee, darling!

Continuing the exploration initiated in the "What to cook and what to wear?" project, this poster delves deeper into the societal landscape of the 1970s, spotlighting the image of women during that era.
At its core, the poster confronts the prevalent gender dynamics and stereotypes prevalent in the workplace during the 1970s. The stark quote, "Go fetch me a coffee, darling," serves as a poignant reminder of the lowly positions assigned to women and the demeaning treatment they often faced from their male counterparts.
Through evocative imagery and thought-provoking messaging, the poster seeks to shed light on the challenges and inequalities experienced by women in the workforce during this pivotal period in history. It serves as both a reflection of the past and a call to action to continue striving for gender equality and empowerment in the present day.
The project's technique involved a multi-step process to achieve its final form. Beginning with an initial sketch crafted in Procreate, the focus then shifted to Illustrator. Here, the challenge lay in capturing soft, organic features through vector drawings. To add depth and dimension, the design was further refined in Photoshop, where texture was meticulously applied. Finally, the project found its completion in InDesign, where it was meticulously prepared for printing, ensuring that every detail translated seamlessly from screen to print.
